Narodhco Kenya Limited is a premium company, based in the heart of Mombasa’s city, providing top quality consumer related goods and services. Narodhco has supplied over 300 loyal customers nationwide for the last 50 years. Our operations range from dealing with overseas markets and exporting to the local East African markets, warehousing and transport services throughout Kenya. We pride ourselves on providing quality management processes through every stage of the supply chain.
The earlier days of Narodhco Kenya Limited date back to 1942. It was the late Narandas Odhavji Ruparelia who established a small business as the sole proprietor and agent for imported coarse salt, from Masawa Salt Works. As a result, the company expanded its network throughout East Africa and its neighbouring countries.
In 1975, Mr. Narandas Odhavji Ruparelia decided to expand his empire and brought on board his son Mr.Bharat Ruparelia. Together they created a successful partnership known as Narandas Odhavji & Company. Bharat’s vision was instrumental in steering the imports business to greater heights and expand the company’s product line to:
· Industrial Hardware
· Electronic Hardware
· Building Material
· Sanitary Ware
As the Managing Director, Mr. Bharat Ruparelia transformed the business into the multi-functional empire and with the addition of co-director Mrs.Bhavna Ruparelia the company is cemented in both its management and market activities. From a humble staff of 6 employees in 1975, the company has expanded vigorously by employing over 20 highly skilled workforce dedicated to providing excellent customer services in all departments.
In addition, we have evolved our expertise in marketing, sales and delivering goods to our clients with efficiency and the in collaboration with third party logistics providers who play a vital role in assisting us in transporting goods to up-country destinations.
In recent years, we have stepped up our imports due to the increased demand in the Kenyan market. Through careful market analysis and fostering close relationships with our customer we have realised that with the growing East African Common Market (EACM) and with the Common Customs Tariff (CCT), it is expedient to expand our imports to cater for the expansion in the market.
At Narodhco we strive to provide top quality customer service and a wide range of local and international fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). Our aim is to provide a service delivery with a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and we will continually aspire to reinvent ourselves in the market.
